Preventive quality metrics
What is the most useful metric for the software’s quality? Obviously, it is the number of the user-critical issues in the software! The problem is that it’s too late to count something when it happened and affected your users.
With this idea in mind we can improve current quality measurement system. Instead of focusing on the problem itself, we can focus on the preceding factors. Instead of trying to guess the results, we will convert quality system into one that is measurable “by design.”
During this workshop, we will practice defining preventive quality metrics that will help to find problems before they happen or at least before they become critical ones.
